CITY OF EASTPOINTE NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENTS: ORDINANCE 26-1253 Pursuant to Michigan Public Act 110 of 2006 (the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act), as amended, notice is hereby given that on February 5, 2026 the City of Eastpointe City Council adopted Ordinance 26-1253, which amended the Zoning Ordinance as follows: 1. Section 2.07 Table of Land Uses by Zoning District was amended to describe where adult use recreational marihuana establishments are permitted. 2. Section 7.11 was added to establish development regulations for adult use recreational marihuana establishments, including buffer and separation standards. 3. Section 8.04 was amended to add parking requirements for adult use recreational marihuana establishments. 4. Article 19 was amended to add relevant definitions for the regulation of adult use recreational marihuana establishments.
