ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS GROSSE ILE TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2026 Notice is hereby given that the Grosse Ile Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at the Grosse Ile Township Hall. There are two applicants applying for variances, as follows: The owner of 26277 East River Road has applied for a dimensional variance to expand a nonconforming building, per Section 285-18.6. The owner of 29839 East River Road has applied for a dimensional variance to expand a nonconforming building, per Section 285-18.6, and to encroach into the required side yard setback, per Section 285-3.5. A draft of the agenda packet will be available for review at the Community Development Department in Township Hall on Tuesday, February 17 th between 8AM and 4:30 PM.
