NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Bruce Township Zoning Board of Appeals Notice is hereby given that the Bruce Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 26, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on a request submitted by Miroslav Mitoski for a variance. The applicant requests to split off a portion of the vacant property that occupies the Van Dyke Road frontage between 33 Mile Road and Covered Bridge Lane (parcel ID 01-27-400-027). The portion requested to be split is 60 wide and 13,800 square feet, which is less than the required 20,000-square-foot minimum lot size and 100-foot minimum lot width in the R-1B district. The purpose of the request is to transfer the split portion to the neighboring homeowner’s association, as the road for access to that subdivision runs through the portion that will be separated from the larger property. A complete copy of the application for a variance may be examined at Bruce Township Hall, 223 East Gates Street, Romeo, MI 48065, prior to the public hearing, during the Township’s regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Zoning Board of Appeals at the Township Hall address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on January 26, 2026.
