CITY OF ROYAL OAK PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE NOTICE is hereby given that the Royal Oak Zoning Board of Appeals will hold an in-person meeting on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the City Commission Chambers, Room 121, City Hall, 203 S. Troy St., Royal Oak, Michigan, to conduct a public hearing on the following appeal: Case No. 26-07-11 – Public hearing on the appeal of AGW Services LLC, petitioner & Danny Chami, owner, for the following variances: (a) waive 2 ft. from the minimum required 5 ft. west side yard setback related to the construction of a new covered, unenclosed rear porch, (b) waive 10.5 ft. of the minimum required 35 ft. south rear yard setback related to the construction of a new covered, unenclosed rear porch, (c) waive 2.5% from the maximum allowable total lot coverage of 30% to permit construction of a new 293 sq. ft. covered, unenclosed rear porch to an existing single-family dwelling at 412 Midland Blvd. (25-03-357-011). Any person interested in the application is invited to present their comments at the meeting.
