CITY OF FLAT ROCK ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR CONSIDERATION OF A VARIANCE REQUEST NOTICE IS HEARBY GIVEN, pursuant to Public Act 110 of 2006, as amended, that a public hearing will be held by the City of Flat Rock Zoning Board of Appeals at 7:00 PM, Monday, February 9th, 2026, in Conference Room A at City Hall. Participation details will be posted on the City’s website so that interested persons may participate in the hearing. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the purpose of the public hearing is to hear and consider a variance request for: PZBA 26-002 Fence at 26806 Celtic Dr. A petition to request a variance to the following: Appendix A Zoning, Article 2.00, Section 2.20 Sub-section 1 (a), Requirement for “(a) Fence is located to the rear of the principal structure.” Applicant is requesting a variance of “Allowing proposed 6’ tall privacy fence past the rear corner of the principal structure.” NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN, that the proposal and supporting documents may be requested of the City Clerk via email at clerk@flatrockmi.org until the date of the Public Hearing.
