NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF OAK PARK ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS Notice is hereby given that the City of Oak Park Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., or thereafter, held in City Council Chambers, 14000 Oak Park Blvd., Oak Park, MI. The Public Hearing will consider: • Case #25-10, Casey Coffin on behalf of Barton Malow Co., 13000 and 12992 W. 8 Mile Rd and 12990 Fern St., Property IDs #52-25-22-351-038, 52-25-32-351-031, 52-25-32-351-030, 52-25-32-351-032, and 52-25-32-376-018 has made an appeal to the Zoning Board of Appeals for a variance from the provisions of Article 3, Division 1: Section 308 Fences, Walls, and Other Protective Barriers Standards of the Zoning Ordinance to allow the installation of a fence that doesn’t meet the front fence location requirements. • Case #25-11, Neil Ganshorn on behalf of Wilmos &Lillian Schwarcz Education Center, 25401 Coolidge Hwy. and 13630 Balfour Ave., Property IDs #52-25-19-429-022 and 52-25-19-429-021 has made an appeal to the Zoning Board of Appeals for variances from the provisions of Article 5, Division 4: Section 557.f. Educational Institutions and Article 2 Division 2: Section 215 Required Conditions of the Zoning Ordinance to allow the construction of an addition that doesn’t meet the building setback requirements from the north and the east sides; the parking lot setback requirements from the west and north sides; and the impervious surface percentage of the lot area.
