VILLAGE OF MILFORD PUBLIC NOTICE – WWTP NOTIFICATION ATTENTION ALL VILLAGE RESIDENTS On June 1 2026 a sludge storage tank overflowed at the Milford Wastewater Treatment plant, located at 1000 General Motors Drive, Milford, Michigan at 9:27 am. The incident was controlled at approximately 10:30 am. The spill was contained before reaching any receiving waters. Approximately 3000 gals overflowed onto the ground inside the perimeter fencing. Cleanup was completed by 4:30 pm. Additional remediation and lime stabilization was performed on 6/2/2026. No additional steps are required. Any updates will follow if necessary.
