VILLAGE OF FRANKLIN OAKLAND COUNTY, MICHIGAN PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 7:00 PM NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village of Franklin Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 17, 2025, at 7:00 PM or soon thereafter as the agenda will permit. The public hearing will be held in the meeting room at the Village of Franklin Hall (Broughton House) located at 32325 Franklin Road, Franklin, Michigan 48025. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider the following amendments to the Village Code: Chapter 648, Littering; Rubbish and Garbage Removal. Updated regulations are proposed concerning littering on public and private property, rubbish and garbage removal, and enforcement procedures. Section 678.01, Storage of Building Materials in Residential Areas. New regulations are proposed to specify when building materials for a construction project on a residential parcel may be stored outside. Section 1268.14, Parking and Storage of Vehicles, Equipment, and Storage Containers in Residential Areas. Updated and new regulations are proposed to address the parking and storage of commercial and non-commercial vehicles, inoperablevehicles, recreational vehicles, and portable moving and storage containers in residential districts.
