URBAN COUNTY OF MACOMB – COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) AND MACOMB HOME CONSORTIUM (MHC) – HOME PROGRAMS SUBSTANTIAL AMENDMENT TO THE 2021 and 2023 ANNUAL ACTION PLANS The County of Macomb (County) is required by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to prepare an Annual Action Plan (AAP) describing the use of the Urban County of Macomb’s CDBG annual allocation and MHC’s annual HOME funding allocation. Macomb County is proposing an amendment to its 2021 and 2023 AAPs to for the purpose of reallocating HOME funds. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The County will hold a public hearing covering the substantial amendment to the 2021 and 2023 AAPs at 9:00 am on Thursday, January 8, 2026, to solicit citizen views and comments. The public hearing will be held in the Great Lakes conference room located at the office of Macomb County Planning and Economic Development, 1 S Main, 7th Floor, Mount Clemens, MI 48043 If you desire to comment but are unable to attend the public hearing, written comments will be accepted until 4:00 pm on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
