TOWNSHIP OF GROSSE ILE NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE AMENDMENT Notice of Adoption of Ordinance Amendments to Chapter 103 Fencing and Walls, Article 4 Standards for Fences in Residential Districts Please take notice that the Township Board of Trustees of Grosse Ile adopted an amendment to the Township Code of Ordinances at this regular meeting held on April 27, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. at Township Hall located at 9601 Groh Road, Grosse Ile, MI. The adopted amendment, known as Ordinance 103-4, amends the Township Ordinance as follows: • Section 4A allows for 6-foot-tall fences along the property line. This amendment will take effect on May 4, 2026. A copy of the full Ordinance amendment is available during business hours at the Community Development Department in Township Hall at 9601 Groh Road.
