SYNOPSIS The Regular Meeting of the Bruce Township Board on December 17, 2025, was called to order at 6:00 pm at 223 East Gates, Romeo, MI 48065 Members Present: Supervisor Fillbrook, Clerk Kraft, Treasurer DiGiorgio, Trustee Sochowicz and Trustee Vinson Members Absent: None The Board took the following action: • Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States • Approved the Agenda as amended and Consent Agenda. • Approved minutes, financials, bills and budget amendments. • Approved Resolution 25-5 for the Washington Bruce Romeo Parks and Recreation and Star Transportation 5-Year Master Plan for 2025 to 2029 and to also include Hox Acres. • Table this item until the January 21, 2026 meeting. • Approved the AEW contract with Bruce Township as presented by resolution effective immediately. • Accept the Romeo Tax Accountants contract as presented. • Request up to 4 hours extra a week for one month for the accounting assistant. • Approved the hiring of Candace Hacias for the General Office Clerk II position with a start date of January 5, 2026. • Table this item until the January 21, 2026 meeting. • Accept the Poverty Exemption Policy and Guidelines for 2026. • Accept and file the 2026 meeting schedule. • Accept and file the 2026-2027 holiday schedule with the following changes: removing Monday, April 6th, remove Monday, July 6th, change December 23rd to 2:00 pm and November 25th to 2:00 pm. • Adjourned the meeting at 6:53 pm.
