SYNOPSIS The Regular Meeting of the Bruce Township Board on May 20, 2026, was called to order at 6:00 pm at 223 East Gates, Romeo, MI 48065 Members Present: Supervisor Fillbrook, Clerk Kraft, Treasurer DiGiorgio, Trustee Sochowicz and Trustee Vinson Members Absent: None The Board took the following action: Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States. Approved the Agenda and Consent Agenda as amended. To approve the Out of Town Policy as presented. To approve the Contacting Township Attorney Policy as amended. To approve the Request for Training, Conference and Seminar Policy as presented with the changes. To add Section 161-3.18 to our Zoning Ordinance as presented on Ordinance 161-3-26 as recommended by the Township Engineer. To approve option no. 2 as presented for the Parks and Rec Interlocal Agreement. To approve having Mid-State Title do the title work and the closing of the Falker Family Farm on McKay Rd and 34 Mile Rd. To set the public hearing for the Cedar View SAD Resolution 2A for June 9, 2026, at 6:00 pm. To approve the Ordinance 161-02-26 as presented. To reappoint Andrew Hale and Ann Marie Boyce to a 3-year term expiring June 30, 2029. To remove the current moratorium on 5G that was put into place by the previous administration. To approve the fireworks display application. To enter into Closed Session at 7:44 pm to discuss ongoing litigation Pursuant to MCL 15.268(h). To adjourn the meeting at 7:59 pm.
