SPRINGFIELD CHARTER TOWNSHIP REQUEST FOR SPECIAL LAND USE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Springfield Charter Township has received a request for Special Land Use for the following: Utilization of existing structures for the purpose of church-related activities, located at 8970 Dixie Highway which is on the north side of Dixie Highway, between Softwater Woods Drive and Bavarian Way Drive. The property is approximately 4 acres and is zoned R-1 – One-Family Residential, P.I. #07-13-301-004. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that oral and written comments on the Special Land Use request will be received at a PUBLIC HEARING to be held at a Regular Meeting of the Springfield Township Planning Commission on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Springfield Township Civic Center, 12000 Davisburg Rd., Davisburg, MI. A copy of the site plan and other information related to the request may be reviewed at the Township Clerk's Office, 12000 Davisburg Rd., Davisburg, MI during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Written comments may be submitted to the Springfield Township Clerk up until the time of the Public Hearing.
