PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any property owner having objections to the proposed creation of the Special Assessment District requested by citizen petition, or to improvements considered therein must file written objections to the improvement with the Township Clerk at or before the date of hearing in the manner required by MCL 47.721. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that an appearance and/or protest at the hearing held for the purpose of confirming the special assessment roll is necessary for any appeal of said special assessment to the Michigan State Tribunal. The Special Assessment District may allow for periodic redetermination of cost, which determinations may be made without further notice to record owners or partner of interest in the property. An owner or party in interest, or his/her agent may appear in person at the hearing or file his/her appearance or protest by mail, in which event a personal appearance shall not be required. However, said notice must be received prior to the public hearing.
