Advertisement for Bids Riverview Community Schools District – Select Roof Repairs The Riverview Community School District Board of Education will be accepting bids for labor and materials for Tremco roofing repairs at Memorial and Forest Elementary Schools. All bidders must be Tremco certified to be considered. It shall be the bidders responsibility to field verify and design their own installation plan and shall include all parts necessary to provide a turnkey installation. Bidding documents including drawings of the affected areas may be obtained by contacting Gary Kennedy, Director of Operations at gkennedy@riverviewschools.com. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, December 22, 2025. Attendees are to meet at the Riverview Operations Office at 11881 Longsdorf Street, Riverview MI 48193. Each proposal must be submitted in duplicate on the forms furnished by the district and must be completed in full. The proposal shall be sealed in an opaque envelope and marked with the name of the bidder and the project name. Proposals are to be addressed and delivered to: Riverview Community School District Roof Repair Project Bid Attn: Gary Kennedy 13425 Colvin Street Riverview, MI 48193 Bids shall be delivered no later than 12:00 noon (EST), Wednesday, January 7, 2026 to the location indicated above. The Board of Education will not open, consider, nor accept a bid received after the date and time specified for bid submission. All late bid proposals will be returned to the bidder unopened. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the Riverview Community Schools Administration Building, located at 13425 Colvin Street, Riverview, Michigan 48193 starting at 1:00 pm (EST), Wednesday, January 7, 2026. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids in whole or in part and to waive any informality or irregularity therein, or to award the contract to other than the low bidder, in its sole discretion. Riverview Community School District reserves the right to accept that bid which in its opinion, is in the best interest of the Owner regardless of the bid amount.
