Bidding Documents will be available beginning at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 12, 2025, via Building Connected. There will be a non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 8:00 AM at the Library. The purpose of the meeting will be to review the Project Bidding Documents and schedule, and to answer any questions Bidders may have. All Bids must include the following sworn and notarized statements: Familial Disclosure Affidavit (Section 004205), the Iran Linked Business Affidavit (Section 004210), and the Criminal Background Check Affidavit (Section 004220). All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security, in either the form of a bid bond or certified bank check, in the amount of five (5) percent of the amount of the Bid, payable to Romeo District Library as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Library is secured from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the Bid or failure of the Bidder to enter a Contract for performance. Further, the Bidder will execute the Contract, provide the required insurance certificate(s) and file the required bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of Contract but prior to Work commencing. Romeo District Library reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids, either in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities and irregularities therein.
