This request for proposal is for a 24-month contract period for which we are seeking guaranteed pricing from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028. The District reserves the right to renew the contract for an additional period. Renewal(s) will depend on pricing and level of service received during contract period. If you desire to bid on these services, please submit your Proposal no later than 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope labeled “Proposal for Trash Removal Service” by the time and date due. No fax, verbal, e-mail or telephone quotations will be accepted. The District is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible or postage-due mail bids. Bids will be opened at the Van Dyke Public Schools Administration Building. Mail or hand-deliver your sealed bid to: Van Dyke Schools Administration Building, 23500 MacArthur, Warren, MI 48089, Attention: Jeff VanConant, Director of Facilities and Operations. Your bid must be received before the bid opening date and time, when all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each Bidder must submit along with the signed original Proposal, two (2) complete copies of their proposal. Each Proposal must be signed by an authorized member of the Bidder’s company. This member should be the highest-ranking officer at the local level All prospective Bidders must visit each building area and familiarize themselves with container locations and with access to those areas.
