RESIDENTS OF THE GIBRALTAR SCHOOL DISTRICT NOTICE OF FILING DEADLINE FOR SCHOOL BOARD TRUSTEE POSITIONS The Gibraltar School District will hold an election on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 to elect four (4) trustees to the Board of Education for a four-year term beginning January 1, 2027 expiring December 31, 2030. Any registered voter in the Gibraltar School District interested in becoming a candidate must file a Nominating Petition and Affidavit of Identity no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at the Office of the Gibraltar City Clerk, 29450 Munro Avenue, Gibraltar, MI 48173. Nominating petitions shall be signed by no less than forty (40) and no more than one hundred (100) registered electors of the Gibraltar School District. In lieu of filing nominating petitions, candidates may opt to pay a non-refundable filing fee of $100.00.
