Macomb Urban County Request for 2027 CDBG Proposals The Urban County of Macomb seeks proposals from qualified non-profit agencies serving the following communities: Village of Armada Harrison Township City of Richmond Armada Township Lenox Township Richmond Township Bruce Township Macomb Township Village of Romeo Center Line Mount Clemens Shelby Township Chesterfield Township New Baltimore Utica Eastpointe Village of New Haven Washington Township Fraser Ray Township Proposals must address one of the following objectives: 1. Assist the homeless, or prevent homelessness among at-risk populations, including those with special needs; or provide strategic planning services to address such needs. 2. Provide or expand services to lower income people, including those with special needs and those at-risk of homelessness. Proposals must be: 1) submitted on the prescribed form, 2) complete and properly executed, and 3) received by the County by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026. Current CDBG sub-recipients must also demonstrate a need for additional funding and have submitted all required reports. A workshop will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, in the Verkuilen Building - Health and Community Services Cafeteria, 21885 Dunham Rd. Clinton Township, MI 48036, to present the process, guidelines, review criteria, and receive forms. After the workshop, applications and materials may also be requested by calling (586)466-6256. The County will make every reasonable effort to encourage the participation of minorities, non-English speaking persons, limited English proficiency persons and persons with disabilities.
