CITY OF PONTIAC NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PROPOSED DISPOSITION OF CITY-OWNED REAL PROPERTY (PARCEL ID: 64-14-32-177-013 – HOUSTON STREET) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Pontiac City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, located at Pontiac City Hall, 45224 Woodward Avenue, Pontiac, Michigan 48341. PURPOSE OF HEARING: The purpose of the Public Hearing is to receive public comment and consideration regarding the proposed sale and disposition of a vacant, city-owned parcel of real property located on Houston Street, Pontiac, MI 48342 (Parcel ID: 64-14-32-177-013). • Current Zoning: R-2 (Two-Family Dwelling District) • Proposed Use: Construction of a single-story, multi-generational residential home consistent with R-2 zoning standards. • Proposed Purchase Price: $1,500.00 • Conveyance Terms: Execution of a standard Purchase Agreement and Quit Claim Deed. STATUTORY AUTHORITY: This Public Hearing is called pursuant to Section 3.113 of the Pontiac Home Rule Charter, requiring a public hearing prior to the sale or disposition of any municipal real property, and in compliance with applicable local and state notice publication requirements.
