CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF CHESTERFIELD MACOMB COUNTY, MICHIGAN ORDINANCE NO. 213 NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF AMENDMENT TO CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP CODE OF ORDINANCES (FIRE PREVENTION CODE) On September 22, 2026, the Township Board of the Charter Township of Chesterfield, Macomb County, Michigan adopted an Amendment of the Charter Township of Chesterfield Fire Prevention Code, being the Township Ordinance No. 77, as amended, codified at Article II (Fire Prevention Code), Chapter 38 (Fire Prevention and Protection) to adopt by reference the International Fire Code, 2024 Edition, including appendices. The Amendment will take effect thirty days (30) days after the date of this publication. Pursuant to MCL 42.8 the full text of the Amendment has been posted in the Office of the Chesterfield Township Clerk and on the Chesterfield Township website. The Township Clerk’s Office is located at 47275 Sugarbush Road, Chesterfield, MI, Michigan 48047.
