ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS BID TITLE: VAN DYKE PUBLIC SCHOOLS – Mowing and Leaf Removal Services For: Van Dyke Public Schools – 23500 Mac Arthur Blvd., Warren, MI 48089 Van Dyke Public Schools will receive sealed bids for Mowing and Leaf Removal Services no later than Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 2:00pm. Two copies sealed (in envelope), clearly labeled with bid title, date & time of the bid opening must be provided. Incomplete bids will not be accepted. Bids are to be sent or delivered to: Van Dyke Public Schools Office at 23500 Mac Arthur Blvd., Warren, MI 48089. Bids will be opened publicly and read out loud in person shortly after receipt of bids. Bids received after October 6, 2024, at 2pm will not be accepted or considered by the Van Dyke Public School Board. There will be an Optional Pre-Bid Meeting on Thursday, September 24, 2026, starting at 10:00 A.M. The meeting will be held at The Van Dyke Public Schools Service Building, 11387 East Nine Mile Road, Warren, MI 48089. Attendance is not mandatory, but it is highly recommended, so the prospective bidder understands the scope of the lawn care operations. All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship(s) that exist between the owner(s) or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the School District or the Superintendent of the School District. The Board of Education shall not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized familial relationship disclosure statement. All bids must also be submitted with a sworn and notarized Affidavit of Compliance regarding Michigan Public Act No. 517 of 2012 – Iran Economic Sanctions Act. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bid bond payable to Van Dyke Public Schools, in an amount equal to the total bid price for mowing the entire district one time.
