Village of Lake Isabella Planning Commission Park Entrance Adjacent Lots and Data Center Regulations Public Hearing Notice Public notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the Village of Lake Isabella will hold two public hearings as part of a regular meeting on July 14, 2026 beginning 7:00 P.M. local time. The hearings will be held at the Lake Isabella Village Hall, 1010 Clubhouse Drive, Lake Isabella, MI 48893. Public hearings are being held on the following proposed ordinances: • Ordinance 2026-03 – Park Entrance Adjacent Lots. This ordinance amends the Village Zoning Ordinance to allow, under specified conditions, two legally platted lots under common ownership that are separated only by a narrow park entrance access strip to be treated as a single site for zoning purposes. The amendment establishes standards requiring permanent deed restrictions, continued compliance with all zoning requirements, and preservation of park access while allowing reasonable residential development and accessory structures. • Ordinance 2026-04 – Data Center Regulations. This ordinance amends the Village Zoning Ordinance by establishing definitions, zoning district limitations, site development standards, utility and infrastructure requirements, environmental protections, noise and lighting standards, and decommissioning requirements for Data Centers. The ordinance permits only small-scale data centers as a Special Land Use in the Industrial District and prohibits large-scale or hyperscale data centers throughout the Village. Information may be obtained, and draft copies of the proposed ordinances may be obtained at the Village Hall at the above address between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
