The Broomfield Township Board will hold a public meeting on the proposed township budget for fiscal year 2026-2027 during the Township Board Meeting at 2889 S Rolland Road, Remus Mi 49340 on Monday, March 16 at 7:00 pm. *The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing. Including this statement in the notice complies with MCLs 141.142 and 141.436 and MCL 211.24e, and turns the Budget Public Hearing into a Truth Taxation Hearing as well, removing the need for an additional, Separate Truth in Taxation Hearing. The Broomfield Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon 5-day notice to the Broomfield Township Board.
