Walled Lake Consolidated School District NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED 2026-2027 BUDGET PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on June 4, 2026, at 7:00 o’clock p.m. at the Educational Services Center, 850 Ladd Road, Building D, Walled Lake, Michigan, the Board of Education of Walled Lake Consolidated School District will hold a public hearing to consider the District’s proposed 2026-2027 budget. Pursuant to Michigan law, a public hearing is required prior to the adoption of the proposed 2026-2027 budget. In addition, the annual budget must be adopted prior to July 1. The Board shall hear public comment on the proposed budget and tax millage rate during this hearing. The proposed 2026-2027 budget including the proposed property tax millage rate, the estimated amount of money to be raised by taxation, and purposes for which millage will be levied, will be available for public inspection during normal business hours at 850 Ladd Road, Building D, Walled Lake and will be posted on-line at the district website, WLCSD.ORG, under the Board of Education Meeting Agendas for public inspection. This notice will be available for public inspection beginning on June 1, 2026. The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.
