NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING To all record owners or parties in interest in real property in the Charter Township of Chesterfield, Macomb County, Michigan: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township Board of the Charter Township of Chesterfield, Macomb County, Michigan, will hold a public hearing at the Township Offices located at 47275 Sugarbush Road on July 28, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. to hear objections to the estimated costs and expenses of providing police and fire protection as determined by the Township Board, the amount of the special assessment levy and the spread of the levy for police and fire protection. This hearing will not result in any increase in the existing special assessment levy previously approved by the voters. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that appearance and protest at this hearing is required in order to appeal the amount of the special assessment to the State Tax Tribunal if an appeal should be desired. A property owner or party in interest, or his or her agent, may appear in person at the hearing to protest the special assessment or file his or her protest by letter delivered to the Clerk prior to the close of the hearing on July 28, 2026.
