NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING WYANDOTTE PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Wyandotte will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., Local Time, at the Wyandotte City Hall, 3200 Biddle Avenue, Wyandotte, in the City Council Chambers, for the purpose of hearing arguments in favor of, and objections to the following: PUBLIC HEARING #03302026– Request from J & A Family LLC, Owner and Richard Lee, Appellant, for a Certificate of Occupancy for a Transmission Shop at 3687 Fort Street, Wyandotte, Michigan, the property is located in a B-2 Zoning District. A transmission shop shall be permitted by the Planning Commission subject to the conditions imposed in Sections 190.305-190.307 and after a site plan review in accord with Section 190.378 and after a public hearing by the Planning Commission. PUBLIC HEARING #04102026– Request from OakWyandotte, LLC, Owner and Jason Howell, Appellant, for a Certificate of Occupancy for a Express Car Wash at 3109 Fort Street, Wyandotte, Michigan, the property is located in a B-2 Zoning District. An auto wash shall be permitted by the Planning Commission subject to the conditions imposed in Sections 190.305-190.307 and after a site plan review in accord with Section 190.378 and after a public hearing by the Planning Commission. This notice is for the purpose of giving any interested party the opportunity to appear or to have their attitude expressed at this hearing in support of or in opposition to this request. You may also express your views in writing, but the letter must be received by the Commission at Wyandotte City Hall, 3200 Biddle Avenue, Wyandotte, MI 48192, prior to the date of the public hearing. In the event this meeting is canceled, the hearings will be held at the next scheduled meeting without any further notice. As required by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, access to all programs, services and activities provided by the City of Wyandotte are available to individuals with disabilities with 48 hours’ notice.
