CITY OF FERNDALE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The City of Ferndale Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at City Hall, 300 E. Nine Mile Road, Ferndale, MI 48220, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., for the purpose of considering a Planned Unit Development (PUD) and Site Plan application submitted by Mike Parks, in accordance with the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act (Public Act 110 of 2006). The PUD and Site Plan applications were submitted to the City in accordance with Zoning Ordinance Article 11, Planned Unit Developments (PUD), and Article 9, Site Plans. The PUD and Site Plan applications propose constructing a parking structure with retail and residential components, to be located at: Sidwell numbers 24-25-27-382-015, T1N, R11E, SEC 27 WOODWARD HTS SUB LOTS 1, 2 & 3, and 24-25-27-382-020, T1N, R11E, SEC 27 WOODWARD HEIGHTS SUB LOTS 4 & 5, commonly known as 165 E 9 Mile Road. This public hearing will be held under provisions of the Open Meetings Act (MCL 15.261, et seq.). Any resident or property owner may participate in the public hearing or submit written comments to the Community and Economic Development Department by mail (300 E. Nine Mile Road, Ferndale, MI 48220) or by email (ced@ferndalemi.gov). The PUD and Site Plan applications will be available for public inspection at City Hall, during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday.
