ISABELLA COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Date of Meeting: Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Place of Meeting: Isabella County Commission on Aging, 2200 S. Lincoln St., Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 PLEASE TAKE NOTE that the Isabella County Planning Commission will conduct public hearings on the following requests: 1. Special Use Permit #25-01: The Planning Commission will consider taking action on a Special Use Permit request submitted by Bruce Green to establish an Outdoor Recreational Facility (3-site Private Campground) in accordance with Article 12 of the Isabella County Zoning Ordinance. The affected property is located at 11251 N Vandecar Rd., Farwell, MI 48622. Section 8 of Gilmore Township, Parcel ID 08-003-40-001-03. 2. Special Use Permit #25-03: The Planning Commission will consider taking action on a Special Use Permit request submitted by Craig and Karen Russon to establish a Bed and Breakfast (3-guest rooms) in accordance with Article 12 of the Isabella County Zoning Ordinance. The affected property is located at 692 E Stevenson Lake Rd., Clare, MI 48617. Section 19 of Vernon Township, Parcel ID 15-019-20-001-00.
