PUBLIC NOTICE Residents of Chippewa Township and Wise Township APM Mosquito Control is your local mosquito control contractor. Mosquito season is rapidly approaching, and mosquito larvae have been detected within your communities. Ground treatment of standing water has started. Vectobac G (Bti, 2%Bacillus thuringiensis, var. israilensis) will be used for larviciding. Aerial larviciding in Wise Township will take place mid-late April, Vectobac GS will be used for aerial application targeting mosquito larvae. Truck ULV spraying will begin the week prior to Memorial Day if adult mosquito activity is present, weather permitting. Kontrol or PermaSease 4-4 (4.6 % permethrin, 4.6 % technical piperonyl butoxide) will be used for adulticiding.
