CITY OF SOUTHGATE PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there will be a work study at 6:30 P.M. and Public Hearing held by the City of Southgate Planning Commission on Monday, February 23rd, 2026, at 7:00 P.M. in the Municipal Council Chambers at 14400 Dix Toledo Highway to hear the following petitions: 1. Proposed rezoning of the parcel located at 15748 Fort Street from C-1, Community Business to C-2, General Business District. A copy of the proposed plans is available for public inspection in the Building Department at City Hall during regular business hours. The purpose of this meeting is to hear public comment on the above petition(s). All interested parties are invited to attend the hearing, submit a written statement to the City Clerk, or e-mail a statement to Jferencz@southgatemi.gov on or before 4:00 p.m. February 23rd, 2026.
