City of Lincoln Park Planning Commission Notice of Public Hearing January 16, 2026 Public notice is hereby given to all persons in the City of Lincoln Park that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Lincoln Park City Hall to solicit comments on a special land use application within the City. The applicant is requesting a special land use approval for a used automobile dealer use at 625 Southfield Road. Used automobile dealers fall under the category of “new or used motor vehicle sales wherein motor vehicles are stored or displayed outside of completely enclosed buildings,” which are special land uses in the Municipal Business District (MBD) in accordance with Section 1278.03 of the zoning ordinance. The site is located at: 625 Southfield Road, Lincoln Park, MI 48146 Parcel ID: 45-008-03-0021-003. This was recently combined with the former parcels identified as 45-008-03-0024-001, 45-008-03-0021-003, and 45-008-03-0020-001. Proposals are available for review at www.citylp.com one week before the public hearing date. Comments from the public are welcome at the public hearing to be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 7:00 pm or shortly after as the agenda allows, at Lincoln Park City Hall, 1355 Southfield Road, Lincoln Park MI 48146. Written comments may be submitted to the City of Lincoln Park Building Department, until the day before the meeting. This notice is in compliance with sections 1262.07 and 1262.08 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lincoln Park, Michigan Public Act 267 of 1976 (Open Meetings Act), and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The City of Lincoln Park will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed material being considered at the meeting to individuals with disability at the hearing upon seven (7) days prior notice to the City of Lincoln Park.
