NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Sylvan Lake Planning Commission Notice is hereby given that the Sylvan Lake Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 14, 2025, beginning at 5:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows, at the Sylvan Lake Community Center, 2456 Pontiac Dr., Sylvan Lake, MI 48320. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments on the Trailside Planned Unit Development (PUD) proposal located at 2000 Orchard Lake Road. The approximately 10-acre property in question is located northwest of Orchard Lake Road, southwest of the DTE Service Center, northeast of the Sylvan Table Restaurant, and southeast of the Clinton River Trail (parcel #’s: 18-01-236-002, 18-01-236-003, 18-01-236-004, and 19-06- 104-003 (Bloomfield Township). The proposed development is broken into two phases. The first phase includes 75 townhomes in 17 buildings and 6 ranch homes. The second phase is proposed to be limited to uses permitted in the C-2 General Commercial District and will not include any additional residential development. A complete copy of the application may be examined at the Sylvan Lake City Offices, 1820 Inverness St., Sylvan Lake, MI 48320, prior to the public hearing, during the City’s regular business hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM through 4:30 PM. Written comments may be addressed to the Planning Commission at the City Offices address. Oral comments will be taken during the hearing on January 14, 2025.
