CITY OF FERNDALE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The City of Ferndale Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at City Hall, 300 E. Nine Mile Road, Ferndale, MI 48220, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., for the purpose of considering a Rezoning application submitted by Mark Louis, in accordance with the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act (Public Act 110 of 2006). The Rezoning application was submitted to the City in accordance with Article 12, Map Amendments (Rezonings), of the Zoning Ordinance. The Rezoning application proposes the existing R-1, Residential, parcel be rezoned to MXD-2, Corridor Mixed Use for: T1N, R11E, SEC 33 HARRINGTON WOODS SUB LOT 99, Parcel Identification No.: 24-25-33-482-022, commonly known as 146 Stratford Road, Ferndale, MI, 48220. This public hearing will be held under provisions of the Open Meetings Act (MCL 15.261, et seq.). Any resident or property owner may participate in the public hearing or submit written comments to the Community and Economic Development Department by mail (300 E. Nine Mile Road, Ferndale, MI 48220) or by email (ced@ferndalemi.gov). The Rezoning application will be available for public inspection at City Hall, during regular business hours, Monday through Thursday.
