CITY OF STERLING HEIGHTS MACOMB COUNTY, MICHIGAN ORDINANCE NO: 509 NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE The City of Sterling Heights has adopted an ordinance that amends Chapter 35 of the City Code to ban the sale and distribution of kratom and amends Chapters 35 and 49 of the City Code to add new offenses and amend existing provisions to conform with state law. The ordinance shall be effective upon publication of this Notice of Adoption. A copy of the ordinance can be inspected or obtained from the City Clerk’s office in City Hall, 40555 Utica Road, Sterling Heights, Michigan 48313 during normal business hours.
