CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF CLINTON MACOMB COUNTY, MICHIGAN ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 506 The following is a summary of Ordinance No. 506 that was adopted at a meeting of the Board of Trustees on March 30, 2026. Section 1. Preamble. The purpose of this ordinance is to promote and protect the public health, safety and welfare. Section 2. The Code of Ordinances for the Charter Township of Clinton, Title Six, Chapter 1062.26 is amended to read as follows: 1062.26 POSSESSION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. No person shall possess or consume alcoholic beverages in any township park or playground except where the Board of Trustees has approved the consumption of alcohol at a Township sponsored event in accordance with policies regarding the consumption of alcohol to be adopted by the Board of Trustees. Section 3. Repealer. Ordinances in conflict are repealed to give this Ordinance full force and effect. Section 4. Severability. Parts held invalid are severed. Section 5. Effective Date.
