LEGAL NOTICE CITY OF ROYAL OAK PLEASE BE ADVISED that on Monday, May 18, 2026 the Royal Oak City Commission adopted the following ordinance by resolution on second reading: ORDINANCE 2026-04 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE 2008 ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE ROYAL OAK CODE OF ORDINANCES, CODIFYING AND ADOPTING A NEW CODE OF THE CITY OF ROYAL OAK, TO AMEND: PART II: GENERAL LEGISLATION; CHAPTER 340 FIRE PREVENTION IN ITS ENTIRETY, TO ADOPT THE 2021 EDITION OF THE INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE, WITH AMENDMENTS, AND TO UPDATE AND MODERNIZE THE CITY’S FIRE PREVENTION REGULATIONS.
