TOWNSHIP OF BRUCE MACOMB COUNTY, MICHIGAN ORDINANCE NO. 161 - 157 NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT On November 19, 2025, the Township of Bruce Board of Trustees adopted an Amendment to the Bruce Township Zoning Ordinance repealing provisions requiring the placement of a private road for the development of building sites with a minimum depth of two hundred (200) feet and eliminating certain restrictions on the placement of private roads in residential zoning districts served by public sewer and water facilities, and repealing any and all Resolutions or Ordinances in conflict therewith. The Ordinance Amendment shall become effective seven (7) days after publication of this Notice. A copy of the Zoning Ordinance Amendment may be purchased or inspected during regular business hours at the Bruce Township Clerk’s office located at 223 East Gates, Romeo, MI 48065.
