CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF HURON WAYNE COUNTY, MICHIGAN ORDINANCE NO. 26-01 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF HURON BY REVISING SECTION 530-32 (B-1 LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT), BY ADDING “TATTOO STUDIOS” AS A PERMITTED PRINCIPAL SPECIAL LAND USE, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF HURON ORDAINS: Section 1: Section 530-32(C)(17) shall now provide: (17) Tattoo Studios Section 2: Severability Should any section, clause or provision of this Ordinance be declared by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of this Ordinance as a whole or any part thereof, other than the part so declared to be invalid. Section 3: Effective Date The provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared to be immediately necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare, and are hereby ordered to take effect seven days after the publication of a “Notice of Adoption”, as required by law Publication. This Ordinance was approved and adopted by the Township Board of Huron Charter Township, Wayne County, Michigan on 2026, after introduction and a first reading on June 10, 2026, and publication after first reading as required by Act 359 of the Michigan Public Acts of 1947, as amended. This Ordinance shall be effective seven days after publication of a “Notice of Adoption”, in The News Herald, a newspaper having general circulation in the Township. Kelly M.
