All proposals must be accompanied by a completed and notarized Iran Economic Sanctions Act Certificate and Familial Relationship Sworn Statement. 3. All contractors bidding on work must be bondable and must include the cost for furnishing a Co-Obligee Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Co-Obligee Performance Bond, as an add to their base bid. The required bonding forms have been included as Attachment H to this project manual. 4. All contractors bidding on work must complete the qualification process submitting the written form or on-line form available at https://www.christmanco.com/subcontractors. Bidders must submit the Qualification Statement and a complete audited or reviewed Financial Statement with Accountants Report and Footnotes to be considered for qualification. 5. Bid Categories Included: WC 01 Demo, WC 05 Foundations, WC 12 Structural Steel, WC 20 General Trades, WC 21 Walls and Ceilings, WC 22 Flooring and Hard Tile, WC 24 Paint, WC 27 Mechanical Piping and Plumbing, WC 27A Sheetmetal and HVAC Equipment, WC 28 Electrical, WC 30 Elevator 6. A non-mandatory pre-bid walk will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 27, 2026. The address for the building is 25345 Taft Road, Novi, MI 48375. 7. This Advertisement for Bids will be placed on the State of Michigan’s SIGMA Vendor Self Service website (https://sigma.michigan.gov). 8. To obtain a copy of the bidding documents, please contact Brad Anderson: brad.anderson@christmanco.com to be invited to view the project documents on Building Connected. 9.All questions are to be directed to the Construction Manager. No direct contact with the Owner or Architect is requested. All questions must be in writing and submitted via Building Connected, no later than Monday March 30, 2026, at 3:00pm. 10. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond made payable to The Christman Company in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as a bid security. Electronic copies of Bid Bonds must be submitted in Building Connected with completed Trade Contract Proposal Form. If bidders do not wish to furnish a bid bond, bid security may also be submitted in the form of certified check, cashiers' check, or money order to the Construction Manager at the address listed above, prior to the deadline for proposals. 11. The Bid Security of Bidders under consideration will be returned immediately after award of contracts. The amount of the guarantee shall be forfeited to The Christman Company if the successful Bidder fails to enter into a contract and furnish required bonds and insurance within 30 days after award of contracts. 12. All proposals submitted shall remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid date. The Christman Company and Novi Community School District reserve the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal, which, in their opinion, will serve their best interest. 13. Post bid interviews will be scheduled beginning the week of April 06, 2026. Bidders must have availability for an interview during this time.
