NOTICE OF VOTER REGISTRATION FOR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2026 CITY OF EASTPOINTE, MICHIGAN MACOMB COUNTY To the Qualified Electors of the City of Eastpointe: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the following offices will appear on the State Primary Ballot August 4, 2026: STATEWIDE OFFICES: Governor, U.S. Senator, Congressional Representative 10th District, State Senator 11th District, State Representative 12th District, County Executive, Precinct Delegates, NONPARTISAN SECTION: Judge of 16th Circuit, PROPOSAL SECTION: Eastpoint Memorial Library Millage Renewal Proposal PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that any qualified elector of the City of Eastpointe who is not already registered, may register to vote at the Office of the City Clerk; the Office of the County Clerk; a Secretary of the State branch office; or other designated State agency. Voter Registration forms can be obtained at mi.gov/vote and mail it to the Eastpointe Clerk’s Office. Voters who are already registered may update their registration at www.expressSOS.com. The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local Clerk’s Office is Monday, July 20, 2026 After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at the City of Eastpointe: Clerk’s Office: 23200 Gratiot Avenue. Eastpointe, MI 48021 • Regular business days/hours: Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. • Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. • Election Day, Tuesday, August 4, 2026 from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. KINDLY TAKE NOTICE: Eastpointe Library Millage Renewal Proposal Shall the limitation on the amount of taxes which may be imposed for library purposes upon taxable property in the City of Eastpointe, County of Macomb, State of Michigan, be renewed in an amount not to exceed 1.0 mill ($1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value) on the taxable value of all taxable property in the City of Eastpointe beginning with the 2027 levy, for a period of five (5) years, in order to provide funds for the operation and maintenance of the City’s public library known as the Eastpointe Memorial Library? If approved and levied in its entirety, this millage would raise an estimated amount of $$742,458.00 for the Library in 2027. The proposal is a renewal of the current millage.
