NOTICE OF VOTER REGISTRATION FOR PRIMARY ELECTION TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2026 To the Qualified Electors of Lenox Township, County of Macomb: Notice is hereby given that a Primary Election will be held in Lenox Township on August 4, 2026. The last day to register for this election in any manner other than in person is Monday, July 20, 2026. Voters may register by mail using a mail-in voter registration form or in person at a Secretary of State Branch Office or the applicant’s county, city, or township clerk’s office. After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at Lenox Township Clerk’s Office, 63775 Gratiot Avenue, Lenox, MI 48050 at the following times: • Regular business hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30 AM - 12:00 noon and from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM • Saturday, August 1, 2026 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM • Election Day, Tuesday, August 4, 2026 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM THE PURPOSE OF THIS ELECTION IS NOMINATE CANDIDATES FOR THE FOLLOWING OFFICES: Democratic and Republican Party nominations, Governor, U.S. Senator, U.S. Representative in Congress, State Senator, State Representative, Township Trustees, and such other partisan offices that may by law be required to be nominated at the primary. Candidates seeking nomination to the following nonpartisan offices are also to be voted for in designated counties at this election: Circuit Court Judge, Probate Court Judge, District Court, and such other nonpartisan offices that may by law be required to be nominated at the primary. To the qualified electors of Lenox Township within New Haven Community Schools: NEW HAVEN COMMUNITY SCHOOLS OPERATING MILLAGE RENEWAL PROPOSAL EXEMPTING PRINCIPAL RESIDENCE AND OTHER PROPERTY EXEMPTED BY LAW 19.5902 MILLS FOR TEN (10) YEARS Full text of the ballot proposal may be obtained at the Township of Lenox Clerk’s Office, 63775 Gratiot Avenue, Lenox, MI 48050. A sample ballot may be viewed at mi.gov/vote. Persons entitled to be registered voters in Lenox Township must possess the following qualifications on or before the day of the election: (1) a citizen of the United States; (2) not less than 17 1/2 years of age; (3) a resident of the State of Michigan and Lenox Township (MCL 166.492). Registrations will be received at Lenox Township Municipal Building located at 63775 Gratiot Avenue, Lenox, MI 48050, Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:30 AM-12 noon and 1:00 PM-5:00 PM.
