ELECTION/REGISTRATION/EARLY VOTING NOTICE The Primary Election is Tuesday August 4, 2026 7:00 am – 8:00 pm Early voting for the City of South Lyon will be held at South Lyon City Hall, 335 S Warren, South Lyon, MI 48178 in the auditorium. It will be open for early voting for 8 hours each day, beginning on Saturday, July 25th, and end on Sunday, August 2nd. The dates and times are as follows: Saturday July 25th 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Sunday July 26th 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday July 27th 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Tuesday July 28th 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Wednesday July 29th 11:00 am – 7:00 pm Thursday July 30th 9:00 am – 7:00 pm Friday July 31st 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Saturday August 1st 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Sunday August 2nd 9:00 am – 5:00 pm Election Day voting will be held at all regular precincts. Voter Registration Deadlines • Register by mail: up to 15 days before an Election- July 20th • Register in person: 14 days before Election Day up until Election Day on August 4th with proof of residency *Drop box locations are at the City Hall entrance, as well as one inside the lobby. There is also a drop box at our Police Department at 214 W Lake Street. There is also a ballot proposal Oakland County Intermediate School District.
