CITY OF LAKE ANGELUS, MICHIGAN NOTICE OF VOTER REGISTRATION AND NOTICE OF PRIMARY ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2026 VOTER REGISTRATION To the qualified electors of Lake Angelus, Michigan: any qualified elector who is not already registered may register to vote at the City Clerk’s office, a County Clerk office, a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. Registration forms may also be obtained at mi.gov/vote. Voters who are already registered may update their registration at mi.gov/vote. The last day to register by mail or online is Monday, July 20, 2026. After this date, registration must be done in person at the City Clerk’s Office, 45 Gallogly Rd., Lake Angelus, MI 48326, with proof of residency. The City Clerk’s office is open for voter registration and absent voter ballot issuance on the following days and hours: Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. By appointment: call 248-332-3916, Ext. 1 Saturday, August 1, 2026: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Election Day, Tuesday, August 4, 2026: 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. NOTICE OF PRIMARY ELECTION Notice is hereby given that a Primary Election will be held in the City of Lake Angelus, Oakland County, Michigan on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The election will be conducted in Precinct 1 at Lake Angelus City Hall, 45 Gallogly Rd., Lake Angelus, MI 48326, for the purpose of nominating candidates for the following offices: State and Congressional: Governor; United States Senator; Representative in Congress, 11th District; State Senator, 7th District; Representative in State Legislature, 52nd District. Judicial (Nonpartisan): Judge of Circuit Court, 6th Circuit – Non-Incumbent Position; Judge of Probate Court – Non-Incumbent Position. Party Office: Delegate to County Convention. Proposals: Proposal 1 – Waterford School District Replacement Operating Millage (Qualified Electors of the Waterford School District Only – Precinct 1-A): This proposal would replace, restore, and extend the School District’s authority to levy up to 18 mills on non-homestead property, expiring 2035. Proposal 2 – Oakland Schools Intermediate School District Regional Enhancement Millage (All Qualified Electors): This proposal would increase the ISD millage by 1.5 mills for six years, 2026–2031, to enhance funding for public school operating purposes.
