NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING SPECIAL USE APPLICATION Please take notice that the Pine River Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing during a duly-noticed meeting of the Planning Commission to be held at the Pine River Township Hall, located at 1495 W Monroe Road, Saint Louis, Michigan 48880 on July 8, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. in accordance with Section 1502(3) of the Pine River Township Zoning Ordinance and the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act, Act 110 of 2006, MCL 125.3101 et. seq. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider a request from William and Sheila Pilmore for a special use permit and site plan approval to, among other things, construct and operate a proposed Single Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) designed to pump air into their private pond. This public hearing will provide an opportunity for residents and interested citizens to express their opinions, ask questions, and discuss all aspects of the request. The following property within Pine River Township is the subject of the request by the applicants: 3350 W Madison Rd, parcel #12-016-027-20. Application materials are available for copying or inspection at the Township Hall upon request. Written comments on the proposed Project and its application will be received at the Township Hall prior to or at the public hearing by in-person delivery, mail, and e-mail (see below for Township contact information). Furthermore, Pine River Township will provide auxiliary aids or services to individuals with disabilities.
