NOTICE OF ELECTION Charter Township of Commerce August 4, 2026 State Primary Election To the Qualified Electors of the Charter Township of Commerce, County of Oakland: Notice is hereby given that a State Primary Election will be held in the Charter Township of Commerce, County of Oakland, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations: Precinct 1: Commerce Elementary School, 520 Farr Street Precinct 2: Wolverine Lake Village Offices, 425 Glengary Precinct 3: Crossroads Presbyterian Church, 1445 Welch Road Precinct 4: Union Lake Baptist Church, 8390 Commerce Road Precinct 5: Oakley Park Elementary School, 2015 Oakley Park Road Precinct 6: Clifford Smart Middle School, 8500 Commerce Road Precinct 7: Country Oaks Elementary, 5070 S. Duck Lake Road Precinct 8: Oak Valley Center, 4200 White Oak Trail Precinct 9: Commerce Township Community Library, 180 E. Sample ballots also can be found at www.mi.gov/vote. Absentee ballots are available for all elections; registered voters may contact the Commerce Township Clerk to obtain an application for an absent voter ballot. To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contacting the Township Clerk in advance of the election.
