NOTICE OF AUGUST 4, 2026 STATE PRIMARY THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD To the Qualified Electors of the CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD, County of Oakland: The State Primary will be held in the CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF BLOOMFIELD, County of Oakland, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the purpose of nominating candidates for the following offices: STATE Governor CONGRESSIONAL United States Senator, Representative in Congress LEGISLATIVE State Senator, Representative in State Legislature NONPARTISAN Judge of Circuit Court - 6th Circuit, Judge of Probate Court - Non-Incumbent Position And for the purpose of electing Precinct Delegates to the County Convention of the Republican and Democratic parties. All polling locations are accessible for voters with disabilities. Persons wishing to obtain an absentee ballot may do so by contacting the Bloomfield Township Clerk’s Office, Monday – Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. In addition, the Clerk’s Office will be open Friday, July 31, 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 1, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. to assist with election-related business. The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot by mail is 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2026.
