CITY OF WOODHAVEN NOTICE OF PRIMARY ELECTION TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2026 TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF WOODHAVEN COUNTY OF WAYNE, STATE OF MICHIGAN: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Primary Election will be held in the City of Woodhaven, County of Wayne, State of Michigan, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the City of Woodhaven will be voting for candidates seeking nomination to the Office of: GOVERNOR CONGRSSIONAL UNITED STATES SENATOR UNITED STATES REPRESENTATIVE IN CONGRESS – 6th DISTRICT LEGISLATIVE STATE SENATOR 4TH DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE IN STATE LEGISLATURE 28th DISTRICT COUNTY EXECUTIVE COUNTY CONVENTION DELEGATES In addition, the following proposal is to be voted upon in Wayne County: WAYNE COUNTY TRANSIT AUTHORITY WAYNE COUNTY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION MILLAGE Full text of the ballot may be obtained at the City of Woodhaven Clerk’s office, 21869 West Road Woodhaven, MI 48183, telephone: 734-675-4903. A sample ballot may be viewed at City of Woodhaven’s website at www.woodhavenmi.org Early Voting will begin Saturday July 25, 2026 thru Sunday August 2, 2026 the poll will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Woodhaven Community Center 23101 Hall Road. The polls will be open on August 4, 2026 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and the place of the election will be at the following locations: Precinct No. 1 Bates Elementary School, 22811 Gudith Road Precinct No. 2 Gibraltar School Board Office (Stark), 19370 Vreeland Road Precinct No. 3 Woodhaven Community Center, 23101 Hall Road Precinct No. 4 Yake Elementary School, 16400 Carter Road All polling place locations are handicap accessible.
