CITY OF MOUNT CLEMENS NOTICE OF ELECTION AUGUST 4, 2026 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF MOUNT CLEMENS, that a Primary Election will be held in the City of Mount Clemens, County of Macomb, State of Michigan on TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2026, at the following locations in the City of Mount Clemens: Precinct 1 Greater Morning Star Church 87 Robertson Precinct 2 Wilson Gymnasium 58 South Wilson Precinct 3 Community Center 300 Groesbeck Highway Precinct 4 Community Center 300 Groesbeck Highway Precinct 5 Seminole School 1500 Mulberry Precinct 6 City Hall 1 Crocker Boulevard The August 4, 2026 Primary Election will be held for the purpose of electing Precinct Delegates and for nominating candidates to the following offices: Governor, United States Senator, Representative in Congress, State Senator, Representative in State Legislature, County Executive, Judge of Circuit Court and such other partisan offices that may by law be required to be nominated at the primary. The polls will be open at 7:00 a.m. and remain open until 8:00 p.m. on the day of the election. Full text of the ballot may be obtained at the City Clerk’s Office, One Crocker Boulevard, Mount Clemens, MI 48043. Applications for absentee ballots must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026. The City Clerk’s Office will be open on Saturday, July 25, Sunday, July 26, Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for early voting and to accept and process absentee ballot application requests. Persons qualified to vote by absentee ballot in the election may vote in person in the City Clerk’s Office until 4:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2026. All electors who are registered in the City of Mount Clemens are eligible to vote in this election. Sample ballots can be found at City Hall and at www.mountclemens.gov and www.mi.gov/vote. To comply with the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), voting instructions will be available in audio format and in Braille. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in these alternative formats can be made by contacting the city clerk in advance of the election.
