NOTICE OF REGISTRAITON FOR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 4, 2026 CITY OF HUNTINGTON WOODS To the Qualified Electors of the City of Huntington Woods, County of Oakland: PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that any qualified elector of the City of Huntington Woods who is not already registered, may register to vote at the City of Huntington Woods Clerk’s Office; the office of the County Clerk; a Secretary of State branch office, or other designated state agency. Registration forms can be obtained at mi.gov/vote or www.hwmi.org and mailed to the City Clerk. Voters who are already registered may update their registration at www.expressSOS.com. The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the local clerk is Monday, July 20, 2026. After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL168.492) at the City of Huntington Woods Clerk’s office, located at 26815 Scotia Rd., Huntington Woods, MI 48070 at the following times: • Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. • Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. • Election Day, Tuesday August 4, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE in said Primary Election, candidates for the following offices are to be voted upon: Governor, United States Senator; Representative in Congress – 11th District; State Senator – 10th District; State Representative 6th District; Judge of Circuit Court – 6th Circuit; Judge of Probate Court; Delegates to County Convention In addition, the following ballot proposals will appear on the ballot: Huntington Woods Road and Sewer Rehabilitation and Parks Improvements Bond Proposal Shall the City of Huntington Woods, Michigan, borrow the principal sum of not to exceed Seventeen Million Dollars ($17,000,000), and issue its unlimited tax general obligation bonds, in one or more series, payable in not to exceed twenty (20) years from the date of issue, to pay the cost of acquiring and constructing road and sewer improvements, including storm and sanitary sewer rehabilitation and replacement of existing sewer lines, together with water main improvements and parks and recreation system equipment and improvements. The estimated millage to be levied in 2027 is 1.98 mills ($1.98 per $1,000 of taxable value) and the estimated simple average annual millage rate required to retire the bonds is 1.91 mills ($1.91 per $1,000 of taxable value). Yes No Regional Enhancement Millage Proposal Oakland Schools Intermediate School District State of Michigan Pursuant to state law, revenue raised by this proposed regional enhancement millage will be collected by the Oakland Schools Intermediate School District and distributed on an equal per-pupil basis to local public-school districts and eligible public school academies within the boundaries of the Oakland Schools Intermediate School District. Shall the limitation on the amount of ad valorem taxes which may be imposed on taxable property in the Oakland Schools Intermediate School District, State of Michigan, be increased by 1.5 mills ($1.50 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation) for a period of six (6) years, 2026 to 2031, inclusive, as new additional millage to provide funds to enhance other state and local funding for public school operating purposes? This millage would raise an estimated $125,756,247 if approved and first levied in 2026.
